My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Rachel Morgan is a newly discovered author for me. I have read her entire Trouble Series. And she became one of my new favorite authors to read. So when I had the chance to review a different series from her I jumped at the chance. Creepy Hollow: Violet’s Story books 1, 2, and 3 were so much fun to read. I have never really been able to get into Faery type story books, but these are, I think, an exception. They were not predictable and full of wit, action, drama, and romance. Since I was not a big Faery fan it did take me a while to get into book one, but probably about 1/3 of the way through book one until I really got into it and then I couldn’t put it down. I think that I read all three books in less than a week because I just wanted to find out what was going to happen. I really liked that each book was good and didn’t go downhill with each book. I would have to say though that book 2 is my favorite of the series. I look forward to reading more from the Creepy Hollow series.
The Trouble Series and the Creepy Hollow series couldn’t be more different from each other. It just shows how diverse of a writer that Rachel is; to be able to captivate an audience with totally different styles of books.
I give this series 5 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend them to people looking for a little adventure, romance, and fun.
I was given this book series in exchange for an honest review.
