Blacksmith build he inherited from his father.
Thick curly brown hair he inherited from his mother.
Age: 23
Level 4 Strongarm

Trae is partners with his father running a successful blacksmith shop in the capital city of Norwell. Their family business has the reputation of honesty and high quality work. They do many commissioned work for the King's army and have gone on trips with the army to be the traveling blacksmiths.

When he was young, he dreamed of being in the army, but being a blacksmith was more needed, so he never had the chance. He did practice using weapons by mimicking the soldiers at the training ground, but was never formally taught. So despite being very strong and having a very powerful enhancement, the weapon he is most comfortable with when the story begins is using a bow. He practiced in the woods while collecting firewood for his blacksmith shop.

Web Extra: When my wife and I were having our third child we saw the name Trae, which had the same base root as the word three or third. (Like Trois in French) And we thought it was a silly thing to name our child Three, but after kicking the idea around for a while it started to stick. It got in our top five names and I actually ended up really liking the name. So when it came time to name characters for a book, this one came pretty easily. He was the third Stone holder I created, and in the original drafts, he was the third stone holder the readers met. But that has changed in The Troven, now I think he's the fifth stone holder we meet. But I like his name too much to change it now.
