She is tall, and has brown hair
She has heightened hearing and is very powerful (level 4)
Pentra is proficient with curved short swords, and often is found in battle wielding one in each hand. Before she draws the short swords, she unleashes her deadly throwing knives. She always has at least half a dozen on her person at all times.
When we meet Pentra in The Troven she is a skilled thief and she is working with a group of bandits to make a heist stealing gold in a northern town. Later in the book and in the series, we'll find her motivations, and sad back story that lead her to this desperate state.
What I love about Pentra is that she can hold her own in pretty much any situation. She stands up to men twice her size with enhanced strength. She uses her stealth, her gift of hearing, and her smarts to get her out of problems. She is one character I come to like more every time we see her because of her many layers.
Web Extra: The first time I wrote about Pentra, she did have her name, but it wasn't in the book at all. (Calling her P in the book was something that was actually highly criticized by many people who read early drafts) In The Troven her name is revealed early on making a slight change, but not a major one. She likes having the flexibility of not being tied to her past and her name was one thing she could change when she moved to different locations.
When I first wrote the book, she gave out fake names when she met new people, or moved to new places, but it became too confusing to follow all the female characters with 'P' names so that idea has been dropped.
